Lightspeed Sponsors Cycling Team in the Tour of Margaret River
Lightspeed is proud to have sponsored a team in the 2018 Tour of Margaret River cycling event, led by our Operations Manager, Matt Harris. The event took place from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 November, 2018.
It was a great result for the Lightspeed team due to some excellent team-work and strategy on the penultimate stage which took us from 6th to 1st in our Division.
The Lightspeed team were proud to receive their trophy and medals from multiple Tour de France stage winners Jens Voight and Robbie McEwan, along with current pro-tour riders Jess Allen and Simon Clarke.
Thanks to the Tour of Margaret River and the Shire of Nannup for hosting such a great event.
One of Lightspeed’s purposes is to participate in the community through initiatives such as sponsorship of important community events, such as the Tour of Margaret River, and sponsoring a room at Ronald McDonald House Perth.
