Lightspeed sponsoring a room at Ronald McDonald House Perth
Here at Lightspeed we have recently had the opportunity and the pleasure to give back to the community by sponsoring a room at Ronald McDonald House Perth. As you are probably aware, Ronald McDonald House Perth keeps families close by providing a home-away-from-home for regional Western Australian families who have a sick child receiving hospital treatment in Perth. This is a charity – and a purpose – that is extremely close to the hearts of everyone at Lightspeed Communications and Electrical.
We are extremely proud, thankful and grateful to have received a message and impact report from Ronald McDonald House Perth this week, letting us know that because of our support of Room 206, we have helped to keep 29 families together and near the medical care they need by providing 123 nights of accommodation so far this year.
Keeping families together helps to improve the quality of life of children and caregivers and strengthens their coping abilities.
