Donhad is a steelwork manufacturer located in Bassendean, WA who are widely recognised internationally as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialised fasteners.
Lightspeed were contacted by their client who had lost connectivity at their workshop and were unable to operate completely. We were onsite within 30 minutes to test and troubleshoot the issue. Our technician completed testing of multimode cabling from the communications rack and found the loss to be higher on one core. He also tested the media converters together and found there to be no active link, the issue was determined to be a faulty media converter. A replacement unit was purchased immediately and installed shortly after. The clients’ workshop was back up and running within four hours of the initial call.
Due to Lightspeeds’ extensive knowledge, experience and expertise, we were able to ensure very minimal downtime to the client, whilst also keeping the cost of repairs at a minimum as well. We are incredibly proud to partner with Donhad, who provided positive and thankful reviews the following day and we look forward to working with them in the future.
