Wanneroo Aquamotion is a busy and vibrant aquatic centre located in the City of Wanneroo. It is a Watch Around Water accredited facility with several pools to accommodate all members of the community, spa and sauna facilities, personal trainers, group fitness classes, creche and more.
Due to their busy nature, it is essential that they stay up and running at all times. The City of Wanneroo contracted Lightspeed Communications and Electrical Pty Ltd to supply and install a new uninterruptable power supply (UPS) at Wanneroo Aquamotion in January 2018.
A site visit was conducted by our Operations Manager to determine the best options available for the client to meet all operational requirements. Once the works were accepted and approved by the City of Wanneroo, Lightspeed personnel promptly attended the site and completed the project. The works were scheduled and completed at a date and time suitable to the client, with minimal disruptions to their day-to-day operations.
Equipment installed included:
- 1 x Eaton 9PX 2200VA 2U Rack/Tower, 16Amp Input, 230V (Rail Kit Included)
- 1 x Eaton 9PX EBM 2kVA/3kVA 72V 2U Rack/Tower
- 1 x Network Card-MS SNMP/Web Adaptor
- 1 x Eaton Evolution HotSwap Maintenance Bypass Switch, 16A, IEC outlets
On completion of the works, Lightspeed staff oversaw the site cleanup and ensured the removal and disposal of the old UPS was done in an environmentally friendly manner, as per the Lightspeed Environmental Policy.
