Powerlines Plus specialises in power line maintenance and construction for the mining sector and state power organisations, with depots all throughout Western Australia.
They contracted Lightspeed Communications and Electrical to terminate and test fibre optic cable at the Agnew Gold Mine Site during a voltage regulator installation.
Lightspeed personnel flew to site and completed the works within 4 days. During this time, we supplied and installed 2 x 8 core FOBOTS and terminated, tested and commissioned 8 core ADSS fibres. Works were completed in conjunction with a voltage regulator installation being conducted by Powerlines Plus.
Both teams worked together simultaneously to not only achieve a fantastic finished product but minimal downtime to the mine site, a great result for the client.
