Lightspeed Communications and Electrical was called to attend an emergency callout at the Telfer Power Station for Ethos Energy, a leading global provider of rotating equipment solutions servicing the power, oil and gas and industrial markets.
Lightspeed personnel mobilised to site within 12 hours and completed all inductions and relevant JSAs ready to commence work.
Our technician discovered that there was rodent damage to a fibre optic cable which had caused network outages.
He proceeded to repair and re-terminate the 6 core MMOFLT, tested and patched it back in, then confirmed with onsite IT the networks were back up and running.
