Big mines need big ventilation, big ventilation means big fans.
That’s what Clemcorp Australia specialise in, working with the mining industry to keep underground mines ventilated and safe to work in. Having started as a small west Australian company they have grown over 30 years to supply systems to numerous sites across Australia.
To enable the future growth Clemcorp have expanded into a new building close to their main base of operations, with over 4 times the existing warehouse space.
As part of the fit out work for the new building, fibre optic links from the existing main communications room out the field cabinets in the warehouse were needed to bring fast and reliable connections on line.
Lightspeed Communications and Electricals team of specialist fibre optic technicians installed cables through the expansive warehouse using boom lifts to negotiate their way to their final points before terminating and testing each link.
To ensure that Clemcorp were able to be up and running as soon as possible Lightspeed’s team works alongside their IT team to plan the installation timing and minimise disruption to other fit out projects.
Lightspeed are proud to be able to work with another locally owned West Australian company to support the mining industry.
