Lightspeed was assigned the task of coming up with a solution to combine two different server rooms into one new modern communications room.
Works included a full 48 hour shutdown with the relocation of up to 400 cables including the installation of a polycom phone system, new wireless access points throughout multiple floors, installation of tie cables between communication racks, installation of multiple fibre optic cables between floors, and testing and re-labelling of floor outlets
All works were conducted over one weekend and had no effect on Western Financials day to day running or productivity, allowing the business to continue running with no downtime – a great outcome.
