The Methodist Ladies’ College, Perth (MLC Perth), is an independent, Uniting Church, day and boarding school for girls, located in Claremont, a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The College now provides more than 1120 Australian and international students with a holistic education.
Lightspeed Communications was engaged to continue the single mode fibre optic upgrade to the Walton and boarding house areas of Mercedes College.
In addition to this, the new computer lab at Walton required 10 gigabit connectivity and as such a new krone cat 6a certified structured cabling system was installed to these areas.
The fibre optics component of the works required the installation of new conduit and cable pathways to facilitate fibre optic reticulation through the heritage listed buildings.
All works were completed on time and under budget.
