Sensational Lighting

One of the Tenders that Lightspeed has been successful in wining is for the City of Stirling’s Supply and Installation of electrical services to the City’s Rights of Ways carparks and associated locations.
The purpose of the proposed works is to improve the aesthetics, amenity, and safety of laneways for all abutting residents and public areas. This involves the installation of new lighting poles, luminaires, switchboard cabinets and junction pits to provide adequate lighting to the full length of the Right of Ways car parks.
One of the recent projects Lightspeed completed was tasked with was the upgrade and installation of Yokine Reserve Carpark lighting.
Lightspeed successfully completed an array of electrical tasks for the project. With a significant amount of plant and equipment involved for such a project, mobilisation, storage and safety was key for this project.
Lightspeed supplied and installed 47 light poles and luminaires, including the necessary footings, all in line with the provided drawings and specifications.
The team also took care of switchboard modifications, to allow energisation as per specification including lighting control requirements. Also included in the works was a civil component including the supply and installation of conduits and cabling, which involved trenching, backfilling and compaction, as well as removal and disposal of old light poles, ensuring everything met the project requirements.
Upon completion all inspection, testing, and commissioning was performed, providing the necessary manuals, record drawings, and as-built drawings.
All works were completed ahead of time and under budget.
