Rosslyn Hill Mining operates an open cut mine and concentrating facilities located 30 kilometres from Wiluna WA. Lead carbonates concentrate produced from the mine is exported to customers in China and other countries.
Lightspeed was initially involved to assess mine sites then current network infrastructure, advice and supply of fibre optic installation to the Concentrated Handling Shed and surrounding Offices, the installation of backbone fibre cabling to these buildings for installations of multiple Wireless Access Points allowing multiple devices to be used around these areas.
Lightspeed then tested and mapped all other communications cables to produce site wide documentation for existing network and future expansions. Lightspeed has also completed multiple amounts of maintenance works and expansions on the site since the initial visit.
