Stage One of the new Constable Care Safety School project has come to practical completion. Lightspeed are proud to be a major project partner helping out this great not for profit organisation.
The project is to build and operate WA’s only safety experiential learning centre, where children aged 4-11 years can practice road and public transport safety skills in a realistic urban environment that links the classroom road safety curriculum to practical skills training outcomes.
The Maylands Safety School will recreate Perth’s streets in detail, including scale buildings, working rail platforms and crossings, traffic lights and intersections, road works, school zones, trains and buses, with every travel element likely to be encountered by a child represented onsite.
Lightspeed are proud to have been involved with the electrical and data design as well as providing and installing all the fibre optic, data, electrical and lighting for this fantastic community project.
