Located at the iconic City of Perth His Majesty’s Theatre (CPP His Majesty Perth WA 6000), this project delivers a resilient UPS upgrade to enhance power continuity for critical building services while minimising disruption to live venue operations.

The scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of a high-performance 10 kVA online UPS system supported by external battery cabinets to extend runtime and improve load security during outages or power instability. At the core is the Liebert GXT5 Online UPS 10 kVA, paired with Vertiv battery expansion cabinets, forming a scalable, enterprise-grade power protection solution.

Two external battery cabinets are integrated to deliver extended backup performance, ensuring critical systems remain supported long enough for safe shutdown or transfer to alternate supply during mains failure. The system is housed within an 18RU freestanding rack, providing a structured and secure installation footprint.

Works are completed after-hours by a two-technician team in a single coordinated visit, covering installation, configuration, testing, and start-up to align with operational access requirements and minimise disruption. The solution is designed for strong performance across variable load conditions, delivering reliable runtime at both partial and full load scenarios.

The project also includes removal of existing UPS equipment and full logistics coordination under a turnkey delivery model. Existing cabling and EMBS infrastructure are retained, with no upstream electrical modifications required.

Overall, this upgrade strengthens operational resilience and ensures long-term reliability of essential systems within one of Perth’s most significant heritage performance venues.
